Project Overview
How do you take your ramen? A print commissioned by Alexis Gabriel Ainouz ('French Guy Cooking' on Youtube!). The objective behind this project was to produce a quick and informative poster on the elements for the perfect bowl of ramen. Taking inspiration from Japanese styled kitchenware and of course - ramen, this makes for a super dynamic and eye catching poster! Illustrating Alex interacting with a heck ton of noodles was a lot of fun to draw!
The Design Process
Communication was key given the vastly different timezones between the client and I. Starting off with any high priority details the client offers, I create a few thumbnails for them to choose from. Text alignment was key in discussion, as well as making sure the composition was very dynamic and lead the viewers eye upwards
